Brief info
Sameer, his wife Zareen and their two children made Adelaide their home in 2013. At that time the city was host to a small muslim population. Sameer helped to promote networking for professionals by providing support for new migrants and their families. As a dedicated community servant Sameer aspires to be recognised as an honest and truthful man whose aim is to lead a simple life and follow the teachings of the 14 Ma'someen (as).
Sameer first graduated from Karachi University with a Masters in Applied Chemistry and later from Muhammad Ali Jinnah University with a Masters in Business Administration. Sameer currently works for an international civil engineering construction company.
In the early days of inception of the Light of Guidance (LOG) Madressa, Sameer and Zareen recognised the importance of this initiative and dedicated their time to establishing it and over the years, providing ongoing support. Sameer’s skills, diplomacy and organization help him take the lead role for the Administration Team of LOG. He enjoys working with a highly skilled team that make a positive impact on the children attending the Madressa. He thrives on the energy and radiant smiles from the children at LOG.
Sameer’s areas of interest include History and The Holy Quran. Sameer enjoys physical challenges including hiking and playing futsal on the weekends.
